How to deal with a ball hog?

So There is this girl on my basketball team and she usually starts as shooting guard but usually in the middle of the game the coaches switch her to point guard. I play point guard and shooting guard, her and I are good friends and know how to play together. Here is the problem on a fast break usually 2 people are on her and blocking her while I am wide open through the center, she just wants to score and be the hero. She makes a lot of mistakes like turnovers and she travels, but the coaches don't care they favor her. Also someone will set a pick on her defender and she will charge to the basket even though there are like 3 defenders on her, while some of my teammates and I are open and she just keeps going and ends up missing and turning the ball over. I tried talking to her once, it didn't work. How do I get her attention? P.S. Sorry it is so long! No rood comments!
