The easiest and hardest question to ask?

I have a crush on my best friend, but as of late he has been acting quite different. He's constantly teasing me about other guys in my class liking me and how they stare at me, and he knows I am not interested in them. Yet whenever I look over at him, I catch him looking at me and then quickly looking away. He knows I dont like talking on the phone and I dont feel comfortable doing so, but he's starting to call me instead of normally texting. He wants me to move in with him and when I told him I couldn't, he was rather disappointed and said he would now I have to pay more rent. He wouldn't drop the conversation either and kept going on and on and on about it with a big smile on his face. If we are sitting together and both quiet, he'll try and ask me a question. In class last week, he sat beside me in every class. Before class I left my bag on the table and then left to do something; when I came back he was sitting in the chair beside mine. Does he like me? And if he does what can I do?
