I don't want the guy I like to think I like someone else, help appreciated?

I like a guy and after some classmate told him i liked him he's been ignoring me. So I repaid the favour and started to ignore him too. Now I've got a best friend who's a guy he's like brother to me and I don't like him in that way. But ever since I've been walking to lessons with my guy friend and I walk past the guy I like I see him looking at me (as I'm trying to ignore) does this mean he thinks I like my guy friend? And how do I get him to thinking this?
