About snakes...Is there a pattern when a snake goes out of hiding?

Last 2 days ago I found a snake t my bedroom bout 12 inches, I panicked and the snake went to a corner behind a large dresser the disappeared probably went to a whole it was around 4:30pm to 5pm. then today at about the same time, I heard some noise from the cellophanes near that area so I rushed then saw only th tail of the snake, going to hiding again. Is there a specific time for a snake to go out of hiding?
